Who are we?

We are Hallerbos B&B, with establishment at Kleinheide 2 in 1500 Halle (Belgium). We are registered in the trade register of the Chamber of Commerce under company number BE 0771 383 689. In the context of our activities, we collect/hold, disclose and/or process your personal data. Pursuant to applicable data protection and privacy legislation, we qualify as the controller with respect to the personal data that we process.

Why do we collect your data?

The processing of your personal data (ie all information on the basis of which your identity may possibly be established by reasonable means; hereinafter: ‘Personal data’) is necessary for the fulfillment of our contractual obligations that we have entered into for you and for the delivery of our services to you, to protect our legitimate interests and to comply with our financial and legal obligations.

By using the Site, you consent to the collection, storage, use, disclosure, and other use of your Personal Information as described in this Privacy statement.

What personal data do we collect?

We collect two types of data and information from Users.

We are not aware of the identity of a User from whom Non-Personal Information has been collected. We may use your Personal Information, such as your name, e-mail address, telephone number, etc., or with the help of our external subcontractors to provide you with promotional material regarding our services that we believe may be of interest to you.

Out of respect for your right to privacy, we offer you the opportunity to indicate within these promotional materials that you no longer wish to receive promotional offers from us in the future. If you unsubscribe, we will remove your e-mail address or telephone number from our advertising list.

We may share information in the event of a business transaction (e.g., the sale of a significant portion of our business, a merger, a consolidation, or the sale of assets). Should such a case occur, the beneficiary or the acquiring company assumes the rights and obligations as stated in the Privacy statement.

Minors

We understand how important it is to protect children’s privacy, especially online. This website is not intended for or aimed at children. Under no circumstances will we allow minors to use our services if they do not have prior consent from a parent or legal guardian. We do not intentionally collect Personal Data from minors. Updates or changes to this Privacy statement

We reserve the right to adjust or revise the Privacy statement periodically. Substantial changes take effect immediately when the revised Privacy statement is published. The date of the latest version is displayed at the bottom of this page. If you continue to use the website after notifying this type of change on our website, it means that you acknowledge and approve these changes to the Privacy statement and that you agree to the terms of those changes.
