Getting back to nature through forest bathing can have a profound and therapeutic effect on your immune health, stress levels, and much more. This is more than a walk in the woods. The purpose of forest bathing is simply to “be” in the presence of the trees without any goal other than to allow the natural calming and healing potential of the forest to seep into our skin, eyes, and lungs.

The practice stabilizes and improves mood and cognition, lifting the spirits. It improves feelings of happiness and frees up creativity, as well as lowering heart rate and blood pressure, boosting the immune system, accelerating recovery from illness and alleviating depression and improving mental health.

Professionally guided on request

We also offer a more structured experience with trained guides for a meditative two-to three-hour ecotherapy excursion starting from €100 euro per person. Group rates are also available. What to bring

Don’t forget to take water and a picnic as there is only one restaurant/cafe, t’Kriekske in the forest, and it is only 1 kilometre from Hallerbos B&B!
