The Hyacint Suite

perfect for families, groups or business meetings

Named after the Hallerbos Forest’s most famous hyacinth flower (hyacint in Dutch), this 72 square metres suite on the top floor of Hallerbos B&B has a ceiling to floor, wall to wall sliding glass door and private terrace which gives the our most panoramic view of the magnificent 622-hectare Hallerbos Forest.

The suite has 3 bedrooms – two bedrooms with two single beds which can be combined into double beds and one bedroom with single bunk beds. The suite also has a private WC and a separate private bathroom with a shower and two wash basins.The lounge area includes 3 double seater sofas and a dining table that seats 6 -10 persons, The table on the terrace also seats 6 – 10 persons. A sided tent is available for the terrace. Local shops and artists have decorated the suite with pieces that can be purchased by guests.

The suite is perfect to host guests for your personal and work events and meetings, including reunions, weddings, communion parties, team meetings, negotiations and retreats.

The Steenputbeek Room

Named after the Stone Pit Creek that runs through the Hallerbos Forest, this room is the largest on the first floor and most secluded at the end of the walkway. The Steenputbeek Room has a ceiling to floor, wall to wall sliding glass door and private terrace overlooking the Hallerbos Forest, two single beds which can be combined into a double bed on request, a lounge area with two comfortable reading chairs, a dining/work table with two chairs, a virtual fireplace, complimentary in-room coffee and tea, a mini-bar with purchasable beverages, a television and a private WC separate from the private bathroom. The Steenputbeek Room is furnished and decorated by local shops, artists and photographers and all pieces can be purchased by guests.

WHAT ARE THE CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES?

Check In is between 16:00-19:00. Check Out is at 11:00.

Early and late Check In or late Check Out (until 14:00) may be possible to accommodate your special requirements, subject to availability. We charge 20 Euro per hour for early Check In. Please notify us in advance of any early or late arrival, or any other relevant information regarding your travel itinerary.

How do I use my electronic key?

  1. When we receive your full booking payment, you will receive a SMS message from “AirKey” asking you to download the “AirKey” app
  2. Download and open the “AirKey” app and follow the instructions to receive your electronic key.
  3. When you arrive at your B&B room’s door, turn on your phone’s BlueTooth and open the “AirKey” app.
  4. Ensure that your “AirKey” app is set to “Allow location access” to AirKey.
  5. Tap the door lock with your finger to “wake it up”. It will flash blue when it is awake.
  6. Then place your phone on the door lock. It will flash green and unlock.
  7. Turn the lock to the left and enter the room.

If your phone and the lock do not work properly, phone Melissa on +32 (0) 473 28 11 65 and she will provide you with the code to open a box on the property that holds an electronic key to access your room.

Is smoking allowed at the B&B?

Smoking is allowed only in the front garden of the B&B.

Do you offer room service?

Complementary breakfast delivery to your guest room is available between 7:00-9:30am.
