The Zenne is a beautiful river with bends, great views and beautiful forests. Because the banks of the Zenne hide the rest of the area from view, it seems as if you are being dropped into another world. All you hear is the splashing of the water as your paddle hits the surface. The ever-changing landscape slides past as you enjoy the tranquility of the water, with numerous nature reserves, recreational areas, historic towns and charming villages. Here and there we see rabbits and other animals slipping away. Most impressive are the swans that take off and fly right over our heads. The trip is calm so even the less experienced student can enjoy this activity. There are almost no rapids here. You paddle at your own pace and the current takes you along.
